Meet your Instructor
Nico Barberan is an internationally touring, high-level guitarist, songwriter, producer, and educator from Chile, now based in Illinois. With a career spanning over a decade, he brings a dynamic blend of Latin American music, rock, blues, funk, and classical influences to both performance and teaching.
He holds a Master’s degree in Music (Applied Pedagogy in Classical Guitar) from Northeastern Illinois University (Chicago, USA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Music from ARCIS University (Santiago, Chile). As an educator, Nico combines high-level musicianship, real-world performance experience, and creative mentorship in his teaching.
